Year 2 enjoyed learning songs about Castles, listening to ' The Old Castle' by Mussorgsky to which they drew pictures . They listened to 'Stately Dance' by Henry Purcell and learnt to play the melody on chime bars and the repeated rhythms on drums and tambours.Here is Penguin Class singing 'Castles.'
