'We have been investigating different 3D shapes. We first used art straws and pipe cleaners to create cubes, cuboids and square-based pyramids. We also investigated the number of faces, vertices and edges each shape had and labelled them.
To move our learning on, we looked at the nets of different 3D shapes. We worked with our learning partner to construct 3D shapes from its net and labelled the number of faces, vertices and edges we could see.'
