Just before half-term, the Year 3 children visited historic Denny Abbey.  They got to learn about farming in the fens in the past. They saw lots of old farm machinery and equipment and were shown how the seeds were sown and harvested.  They visited an old fenland cottage and dairy and had a go at milking the local cow!

They explored the abbey and learnt about its history, having once been the home of monks and nuns.
