We have begun our learning about our amazing country - the United Kingdom! We have named the four countries of the United Kingdom and used north, south, east and west to describe their location. After using Google Earth and looking at an atlas, we added England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales to a map of our own. Then we used some green playdough to make our island, paying attention to the borders of the different countries and our coastline.
